Antonio Cabanas es autor de los bestsellers El ladrón de tumbas, La conjura del faraón, Los secretos de Osiris, El sueño milenario, El hijo del desierto, El secreto del Nilo y El camino de los dioses, todos ellos en Ediciones B, con los que ha alcanzado un gran éxito entre la crítica y el público. Apasionado de la cultura del Antiguo Egipto, de la que es un gran conocedor, dedica gran parte de su tiempo a investigar y escribir acerca de ella. Ha realizado estudios de egiptología, lengua egipcia y escritura jeroglífica, y desde 1990 es miembro de la Asociación Española de Egiptología. Sus obras han sido traducidas a varios idiomas.
