VICTORIA-MARヘA MACDONALD is Assistant Professor of History and Philosophy of Education, Department of Educational Foundations and Policy Studies, at Florida State University. She is the author of The Transformation of Schooling in the Urban South, and she is also the coordinator of The History of Hispanic American Education Project.
