Marilyn Serena Ricketts has been writing poetry and short stories since being introduced to the works of author Robert Louis Stevenson, at a young age. She has won several awards for public speaking throughout her school years and has had her work published by the International Poetry Guild. She has been invited to perform her poems at a number of events. Marilyn lives in Durham Region, Ontario with her family. Life in Shades of Blue is her debut collection of poetry.
