by Ana Annise (Author)

Livingston Parish is the name of my main character and this book is His story. Livingston Parish had Family who fell victims to a troop of renegade Confederates that came across their path just after the Benton's Ferry Skirmish in 1864. What happened that night triggered events that would lead to revenge, sorrow, hangings, murders, trials, dark family secrets, corrupt law officials, and would affect the lives of many generations there after. The Ghost at Sand Hill Cemetery evolved shortly after the 1864 beheading of an innocent half starved elderly man who himself had three Sons off fighting in Civil War which would end the following year in 1865. Only one of those three Sons would make it home. What happened after that will be left for you to determine. I already had my encounter with the Ghost at Sand Hill in 1971. I have never been back to that place.
