Greta is a Bearded Collie, a dog of the finest quality, one of love, joy, and happiness. Deemed by a puppy mill not to have the qualities they sought she was abandoned into the wilds of Kentucky. She survived by eating grasses, roots and what was left from other animals. When rescued she was covered in leaves, branches, dirt, knots, tangles, and ticks. They brought her to Ohio where they combed, cut and cleaned her, comfort found. She fell into our hearts, lives, and laps, healing those hearts recently broken by the loss of two very special, wonderful four-legged children. She fills us with joy every day. These are some of the stories she tells me as we walk about her life before she came to us. She is now very happy. She is joy. She is Greta
