Lotus Blooms is a simple book about two children having a dream, and yet, the world is not always so accepting of them. Therefore, their dear grandfather, seeks to remind them that a secret flower, the lotus, is something that overcomes the muck. They are not always found growing in clear water, and so, that does not stop them from rising above the muck. In the end, just like the flower, people can rise above their hurdles and bloom into something amazing. The grandfather uses the lotus as a way to show how nothing is impossible.
