Beginning her design career at a London-based children's publisher in 2012, her passion for creating innovative illustrated non-fiction grew. She went freelance in 2015 after her son was born, working for a variety of children's publishers, moving from design to illustration. In 2018, she was shortlisted for Penguin's WriteNow illustration prize. She wrote and illustrated \u003ci\u003eMy Mindful Book of Zen\u003c\/i\u003e and illustrated \u003ci\u003eCaterpillar Cake\u003c\/i\u003e by Matt Goodfellow.
