In Mama, Who Am I? a young child asks her mother about her place in the world. Through rhythmic prose, her mother explains that she is beyond what she might believe she is. The child slowly comes to understand that she is beyond even the question itself. The verses invite the young reader to consider a connection to a greater universe beyond imagination.
