The sunflower is author, Chris W. Scholl's favorite flower, however, her true passion is animals. Ms. Scholl has had a pet sitting business for 20+ years. Her love for animals reflects not only in how she runs her business, but also in the home she shares with her own large fur-family. In fact, the main characters of this book were named after two of Chris W. Scholl's pets; two beagles named Mary and Hannah.
