He is an AIDS educator, an active member of the American Society for Microbiology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLawrence M. Elson\u003c\/strong\u003e received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Zoology (Pre-Med), and completed his graduate and Ph.D. work in Human Anatomy also at the University of California, Berkeley.
