On the first day of summer, Millie invites a goat from the city park to visit her grandmother in the countryside. They have a wonderful day, but why does the goat insist it must be back in the park before dark?

Author Biography

Wang Yimei has written over 300 stories and children's books, many of which have won prizes in China-for example, Mole's Moon River, The Cat that Lives on Rainy Street, Dinosaur's Treasures, and The Muddled Pig.

Gui Tuzi was an animator before he turned to children's books. His book The Boat won first prize in The Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Award in 2019.

Helen Wang translates Chinese children's books into English. Her work includes Cao Wenxuan's novels Bronze and Sunflower and Dragonfly Eyes.
