A hunt club of good old boys morphs into a powerful right-wing hate group that goes by the acronym FANG and menaces a town on the Florida-Georgia border. Ander Wainwright, one of FANG's enforcers, decides to quit the group and tries to reconcile with his wife and child. Jeb Tucker, an FBI informant, gathers information on FANG's activities and reports to a special agent who might not be who he says he is. Both Ander and Jeb discover that their fates intersect when they confront some of man's darkest impulses.
