Author Biography

LAURA S. NOWAK is Professor Emerita of Finance at the City University of New York, College of Staten Island, and an economic and financial consultant. She began her career in the Money Market Statistics section of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Her research has centered on Federal Reserve policy, interest rate volatility, and practical applications of these subjects.
