Author Biography

Author, Donald West, Professional Trail Builder for Alpine Trails, Inc., lives in Alpine, Utah and spends his days designing, building, and maintaining trails for hiking and mountain biking. Donald was a former co-owner of Progressive Trail Design, president of the Ozark Off Road Cyclists based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas and also an Arkansas Representative for the International Mountain Bike Association. He has a background in Environmental Soil and Water Science and is an avid outdoorsman.
