My garden of flowers and broken pieces is a collection of poetry and prose, that in the most honest and vulnerable way reflects the journey I embarked on. From feeling like I was spinning out of control and not seeing any sign of light, to looking up at the stars with hope and a newfound love for myself. I would have laughed if you told me my grand adventure would have taken me back to myself. At the time, that would've felt disappointing, or even silly, but now I know that in the depths of my heart, I found everything I was ever looking for. To say I'm nervous about letting you into my ocean of vulnerability is an understatement, but I've gotten to know this fear quite well over the past few years, and now I know it must be worth it. I hope that through my words, you uncover pieces of yourself and send a few more drops of compassion and love to those parts that feel lost or unloved. I hope that by the last page, you too, get to see yourself with understanding, acceptance, and wonder.
