My Special Greetings was written to help both children and adults navigate the conversation of bodily autonomy. The story presents 3 familiar everyday scenarios that children can experience in regards to how they may be asked to physically greet others. However, each child acknowledges and explores their own way of hellos or goodbyes instead.
