Neshanic Station \u003cbr\u003econtained only a handful of residences until railroad lines \u003cbr\u003eled to the commercial and residential expansion of the \u003cbr\u003evillage in the late 1800s. \u003cbr\u003eToday, these two villages exist mainly as residential \u003cbr\u003ecommunities but are linked with the past through the \u003cbr\u003elifelong ties to the villages by their residents.
