The New Stories from the Midwest (2013) anthology seeks to support and spotlight the flourishing crop of Midwestern writers who consistently produce work that is innovative, finely crafted, and strong in voice. The anthology will be released from New American Press every other year, alternating with its sister publication, New Poetry from the Midwest.
