by Bernard Rourke (Author)

Have you ever thought about where your own personality comes from? Have you ever considered that your own mind might contain an ancestral core? Do you really believe we are born as an 'empty vessel'? No Empty Vessels explores the complicated mysteries of our minds, thinking about the Subconscious, the Conscious and the Inherited mind. What are they there for? What do they make us? And do they always work in our favour?

Author Biography

Bernard Rourke, the seventh of eight children, was born in Liverpool. The rampant disparity in the character and personalities of his siblings led to his life-long fascination with the human mind and behaviour. He obtained a BA degree and a teaching diploma from Sheffield University. The Army sent him to London and Hong Kong Universities to study Mandarin Chinese where he qualified as an interpreter. He then spent a number of years in Hong Kong directing Chinese language training of military and diplomatic personnel from Britain and Commonwealth countries. He retired from the Army with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
