After once having to watch an entire universe dissolve into war, Lar stops running this time and sets out to create a civilization that will be strong enough to resist the Q'ruun D'that. Unlike his previous travels, he will now have help, but he must civilize and unite a galaxy. Although evil forces oppose him at every turn, Lar will not be denied his quest for the perfect society.
