Author Biography

Kay Haynes Lottinger has more than thirty years of experience as an educator: elementary classroom teacher, physical education teacher, counselor (at all levels), and elementary school principal; she values the enriching power of nature in the lives of children. Kay's imagination was so captivated by her own surprise encounter with the comical roadrunner that she wanted to share the joy, hence ONE QUIRKY BIRD, THE ROADRUNNER!
