Set in the forgotten world of a mental asylum, its medical background is largely authentic, but the plot and characters are fictional and not intended to be taken too seriously.

Author Biography

Formerly a doctor in England, Jennifer Barraclough now lives in New Zealand with her husband and cats. She has written and edited several books on medical subjects, and several novels. Jennifer's interests besides writing are choral singing, animal welfare and holistic medicine.
