This book explores the various adventures of the author's dog Peanut. Peanut is a Lhasa Apso Chihuahua mix, with the personality of the Chihuahua and the intelligence of the Lhasa Apso. This makes for some very interesting escapades with other animals and birds living in Peanut's backyard, which she thinks of as her friends. This book is the first in a series of books about Peanut and her friends.
