The 854 etymology charts in this book show the complex derivation of over 3300 Persian words from their roots. These charts that resemble simple org charts also include cognates of Persian words in other languages. Wherever possible, the original meanings of words are also provided to reflect the thinking of our ancestors like Father meaning "protector of the family" and Farhang meaning "that which pushes people forward."
