Lyn Watner redefines philanthropy, making it a part of community life. She grew up not knowing that there were things a woman wouldn't do and became the first female pro sports agent. She takes that approach to everything she does and now focuses her attention to helping people give back to their community, in any way they can. She has spent 25 years working with charities and making communities better. Author Biography

Lyn Watner was the first woman to be an agent in Major League Baseball from 1976-1986. She has also been a professional fundraiser for over twenty-five years and in March 2013, started her own consulting firm, LMW Non Profit Associates www.lyn@lmwassociates.com Lyn lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her dog Emmie. She graduated from Drew University and lived in Mexico for 6 years.
