The primary objective of this study was to identify physically demanding missions and mission segments performed during SEAL operations and to rank them according to difficulty to perform, frequency of performance, and importance to mission success. A second objective was to identify and quantify the aerobic and anaerobic components of each task. The final objective was to identify the abilities that contribute to success as a SEAL operator.
