Julie and PJ's mouse rescue a wet, frightened mole from an old, deep, dark well. The well the parents always tell them to stay away from. After saving the mole, Julie learns a lesson about kindness - a lesson about helping others that brings her happiness and joy.

Author Biography

Lizabeth Danek is a graduate of the University of Connecticut College of Agriculture. As a child, she developed a lifelong love of small animals, having raised rabbits, chickens, ducklings, kittens, and mice. Lizabeth has two grown sons, and she and her husband live in Tucson, Arizona. She is the author of PJ and His Mouse.
