The story is set in the late 1990's. It is a fictional account of factual, historical event with real locations. It also covers a fictional account of the disappearance of the Anasazi Indians. A 50-year old secret, Project Anasazi, known only to U.S. Air Force Intelligence and a few individuals outside the U.S. government is in danger of becoming a national calamity. It was July of 1947 when the Roswell Incident made national, front page news and the government cover-up began.
