Author Biography

Kimberlee Rutan McCafferty is the mother of two sons on the autism spectrum. Her writing, featured in Exceptional Parent Magazine, Autism Parenting Magazine, the Patch network of community information websites, and on her blog autismmommytherapist is grounded in her experiences as an educator, stay-at-home mom/therapist, and advocate. She has also authored and produced a play about mothers of autistic children and has served on the Family Partners Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, which is part of the Autism Speaks-supported Autism Treatment Network.
