Author Biography

Dr. Hawkins is a wife, mother, sports fan, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She has been a mentor, tutor, coach, and motivational speaker to numerous youngsters. Dr. Hawkins earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree from George Mason University, a Master of Public Health degree from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University.
