Rebecca is eagerly looking forward to a vacation with her family in the Black Hills, far away from Salem, Brown Academy, and crazed magic people trying to take over the world and destroy her in the process. Soon after arriving at Coolidge Ranch, however, Rebecca finds herself caught in a mystery involving Lakota lore and magic and a mysterious apparition know as the Horned Serpent which is terrorizing the area.
