Author Biography

Masaki Nishina Ph.D has an academic background in Physics and Astronomy. He has engaged in particle experiments in the US and was involved in developing the world's biggest wide-field astronomy cameras in Tokyo. In 2000 Masaki learned Western Reiki and subsequently changed his career to work as a therapist and teacher in 2003. He soon became a certified aromatherapist and studied psychological counseling. In 2005 he learned Jikiden Reiki and became dai-shihan in 2010. To date he has taught more than 2,000 Western Reiki and a few hundred Jikiden Reiki students. He enjoys Sado and Kyudo as well as Japanese ceramic art and wearing Japanese kimono.
