My intent for this book is to write about the myths and realities of retirement from my perspective as a young woman living alone and retiring at a relatively young, but healthy age of 62. If anything, you as a reader may make an educated and informed decision to retire at a time when you are ready to transition into a new phase, but one you will be able to hopefully reflect upon positively, knowing it was the best time for you.
