I suspect every generation has its challenges with bringing up moral and respectable men in their society, so this assignment is not unique to us in this day. We should find comfort in knowing we are a part of a great cloud of mothers who have gone before us. They produced men of standard and integrity who became husbands, fathers, brothers, and leaders who changed our world. We can and must be the same for future generations.I have encountered many people who are not believers in Jesus or hold different spiritual convictions, but they have been companions. Growth is produced through various experiences if we are open to listening to learn about others. We can discover how to communicate and live across differences with civility and respect. In the process, our perspectives may broaden and change. More importantly, this sharing creates opportunities for further exploration of our hearts and walking in kindness towards those who are different than us.
