In 2013 he was a guest writer on the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa. In 2014, his story \"Emuntorios\" was included in \u003ci\u003eThirteen Crime Stories from Latin America\u003c\/i\u003e, volume number 46 of the prestigious magazine \u003ci\u003eMcSweeney's\u003c\/i\u003e.
