Like a flash of lightning on the horizon, I crafted the chain of questions: what if you were to write a book? ...what would be the style? ...and what would the story be about?

Positive, she was not.

I answered the question during that date...which took place at a neighborhood bar in Philadelphia in 2018. Then on the journey, I went...like walking alone on train tracks, finally reaching the station in 2024. I wrote what you hold now...pretty good in its best moments!

The story would be about a fascinating friend of mine. He was (and is) a thrill-seeking, music-loving, beer-drinking, non-traditional Casanova. He chased the horizon...and your beloved narrator chased him.
