My lifetime goal is in part, to help save the planet, and this is the reason that at age 83 I am producing this series of books that help in expressing that need. For many years I have designed and produced Jewelry as a living by selling my creations at Art Shows and Renaissance fairs across the US. It was customary to use IVORY in creating jewelry and I am guilty of carving designs on it as well as carving it in artistic collectibles. For this, I apologize to the many elephants that lost their lives to the greed of hunters just to profit from their ivory tusks. Elephants are so intelligent, and we should respect their contribution to our global family. Elephants have a vital role to play in shaping ecosystems. That matters because elephants are vital for supporting ecosystems, and are considered a keystone species for the role they play. They trample forests and dense grasslands, supporting the growth of smaller species. Thank you for your support of our large animal friend.
