Ibrahim Whyte Sesay was born in Sierra Leone and lives in New York, where he teaches high school Chemistry and Biology. He attended the Government Secondary School in Bo (Bo School), Fourah Bay College in Sierra Leone, and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro.
