A young woman, near death, is found one cold morning near the castle gate and taken into the castle .

Earlier, a young couple fell in love, (lust), fear of being discovered they must slip from the village before being banished and build new lives. Things go from bad to worse, when the couple find themselves desolate out in the cruel world, in an abandoned stone hut, facing death.
