This is a reference book on the 1979-80 TV series Sherlock Holms and Dr. Watson. It includes all 24 episodes, along with directorial credits, numerous photographs, complete cast lists, and a story synopsis for each episode. The series, which was filmed on a relatively low budget in Poland, starred Geoffrey Whitehead as Holmes, Donald Pickering as Dr. Watson, and Patrick Newell as Inspector Lestrade. Kay Walsh appeared in several episodes as landlady Mrs. Hudson.
