by William Chantry (Author)

The reader joins the book's characters as witnesses to - a super storm on a mountain, to a pilgrimage in Portugal, to an ambush when a gun didn't work, to a phantom motorcycle escape, to hiding secret conterfeiting equipment, as well as a Sunday heart attack, and a lost Army son, and a Senator who played a trumpet after a hayride, and a long legal case that began by a Voodoo Doctor giving away cash by the fistful. Words of wisom seem to be shared at Christmas, during the building of a concrete sidewalk, and with whispers over a feather bed. A dog is the star once and a pastor saves a run-away daughter. Finally, it seems that men and women just never see the world in the same way. These are hard but fresh characters that are living out their lives as best they can, while sometimes even listening for words of faith.

Author Biography

William Chantry, or his persona, was a general practice attorney in a small town in the South. He did a trial practice and met some unusual people that have inspired fictional stories. Some stories seem just to good (or whimsical) to not be noted by a writing. He has written three books, has a large family, is retired, reads a lot, gardens, builds, and enjoys computers and gadgets.
