Dr. Julia Fairchild and her sister Carly are on a "no detecting" vacation on the lovely island of Virgin Gorda in the Caribbean. They stumble onto a beautiful young woman who lies on a rock on a remote beach, almost as if she has been sacrificed. A lovely necklace and Asian slippers are in the sand nearby. They find themselves in the midst of a bigger mystery as they try to learn the woman's identity. A pirate movie being filmed nearby and island magic combine to create a mystical backdrop for this story.
