Peter Mallinger's auotbiographical account of life in the Boardroom's of Newcastle United and Kettering Town Football Clubs is a fascinating read for any football supporter. His days at Newcastle United were never easy since his appointment as a director coincided with the emergence of Sir John Hall and The Magpie Group whose ambitions were to democratise the club and hand the power to the supporters.
