This book was written with a mission: to get kids to put down their iPads and phones and go outside and enjoy the wonderful game of football. The author hopes, by writing this book, kids and parents will gain a deeper understanding of how to play football; and, how safe and fun it can be for everyone. He wants kids to see that it is a game that anyone can play, no matter what their skill level. He offers tips that take the mystery out of how to safely tackle as well as throw, kick and catch a football.
Interestingly enough, this book is written by a young man who cannot play football himself, due to his disability. But he found a way to immerse himself in the game he loves by becoming a coach. As he says, 'There is a place for EVERYONE in football!'.
