My name is Teresa Lewis and I live in Sin City (Las Vegas, NV, in case nobody knows where Sin City is). I spend my free time shooting pool and watching WWE John Cena (I never give up on life). I am divorced and I have four children and seven grandchildren. I love them all the same.
Writing just comes to me as I am sitting anywhere. Most of the time I write my poems at work, lol. I used to work in a prison, so I guess you can say I had a lot of time on my hands lol. Now I work at a world-renowned place. I would hear a song and say "That would make an amazing title to a poem about what is going on in my life", whether it is good or bad.
My life, I guess, you can say has been more bad than good. Lots of heartbreaks and sorrow. But I put on my big girl pants as my friends would tell me, and I made it happen. I have always wanted to publish my book, it has been a dream of mine for a very long time, even though I was always told I would be a nothing, so I hope you enjoy reading my poems and they put a smile on your face, and maybe some tears in your eyes. And just remember no matter how many times you want to give up, you just keep trying and one day your dreams will come true.
