by Frank W. Lyons (Author)

South Dakota Days is a series of stories about rural Midwest life in the 1930s and 1940s. It is written in the down-to-earth language of the times. Even though life was tough during the never-ending Great Depression, people of South Dakota learned how to live their lives with humor, happiness, and eternal hope for better days ahead. For readers who lived on Midwest farms and ranches in the mid-twentieth century, the stories will stir up memories. For others, it will allow them to "time machine" themselves back to that place and time.
