Suspiciously Picturesque celebrates all that appears before us, while taking a moment to consider what swirls in the background. It's the world we enjoy with a not-at-all-subtle nod toward the flavors we may not always recognize.

More than seventy essays appear on the pages of Suspiciously Picturesque, with the majority selected as a spotlight on the first nineteen years of the In My Backpack website. Six essays have been prepared just for this effort.
