Mufaddal ibn Umar was a loyal companion of Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws). Mufaddal attempted to debate the atheist but was unable to. Then he left and went to Imam Jafar Sadiq (asws) to ask how to reply to the atheist regarding the existence of the Creator of the Universe.
