The Adventures of Emma & Linus: Farm Animal Rescue is a rhyming story for children about a young girl named Emma and her dog Linus. In this adventure the duo leave the animal sanctuary where they live to rescue animals from a nearby factory farm. Emma and Linus teach the farmer to have compassion and respect for all creatures.

Author Biography

Shannon Griffin is an animal-lover from Hardwick, VT, where she grew up in a house known for never turning away a stray cat or dog. Shannon, her husband John and their son Jack are keeping that tradition alive at their current residence in Kingsport, TN where they live with their adorable dog Linus (yes, the very same Linus from the story!) and two mischievous cats, Beatrice and Scully. Shannon has a degree in Cultural Studies from SUNY ESC. This is her first publication.
