Author Biography

Debra was raised on a farm and ranch in West Texas, where she learned to care for and love animals. This rural life is where she learned the values she would live by; such as responsibility, caring and kindness. These values were carried on and taught as an Elementary teacher to the students she loved. Debra was always in search of books that valued positive traits for her students to read. Debra is retired from teaching and makes her home with her husband and Shadow on the same farm and ranch, still full of animal friends.
